Your new Holocaust poster is very, VERY OFFENSIVE.
Firstly you are comparing humans to animals which is bad enough but you have overstepped the mark by comparing Jews and pigs – you can’t get much more offensive than that and if i were religious or Jewish I would be deeply offended. I’m sure you didn’t mean to do this so please remove it.

ALL life is sacred, be it animal or human animal….
I see that image in many different ways…
Pain and suffering created by man.
I would give my life to end suffering.
As disturbing as this image is, its a holocaust of animals that continues day after day, if it takes showing a shocking image to awaken people then so be it. There is no malice in our posts. The human bodies still go on today exactly as this image by the deaths created/caused by the meat and dairy industry.
Sad that you overlook all the good work that we do, and try to read your own feelings into our work.

I’m a bit confused here ‘offended’. Are you offended or not? First you say you are, then you say you would be if you were religious or jewish! So you are not religious OR Jewish, but you assume those who are will be offended by this poster?
Where on the poster does it say i am comparing Jews to Pigs? The poster is about mass slaughter, it is about causing suffering to another living, breathing, feeling being just because of there skin or species. ALL life is precious, and nobody has the right to harm or kill any life, regardless of who or what that life is.
Did you not even consider that the person who made this poster could actually be Jewish and religious?
You are of course entitled to your opinion, but so am i. That is why the poster will stay, and we at CALF will continue to fight to protect ALL innocent life from suffering and death.

Why on earth is it a bad thing to be compared to a pig? Pigs are intelligent, affectionate, loyal, curious, and innocent. What harm could they do? What makes humans so much higher than animals? We’re both made of flesh and blood, we both feel pain, fear, anxiety, humour, happiness. Our basic motivations are the same. We both have parental instincts. Why on earth would it be a bad thing to note the OBVIOUS similarities between current cruelty to animals and cruelty to humans in the past, a cruelty we like to think of as historical, yet here it is, happening to the most helpless, those who have no voices, no rights, no soldiers to liberate them, no attic to hide in, and no one to write a diary for them so the world can hear their voices.
It is a fact that Auschitz was based on the chicago slaughter house system. It is a fact that the methods of slaughter and confinement in the holocaust are extremely similar to the methods used today on animals, it’s a fact that animals have all the same needs as humans, and all the same instincts.
I’m sorry you’re offended, but I’m much more sorry that you think humans so high and animals so low that it is an insult to point out similarities in an attempt to end another kind of holocaust.

Oh get over it! The comparison holds very well. One situation over the other. What is degrading and ultimatelyoffensive is the fact that people do these atrocious things to living, breathing and sensitive beings and not only get away with it but are, or have been, rewarded for it. If you had any sense in you, you’d be offended by the monstruous spectacle and not by some religious or racial precepts, of which you are neither! Duh!

i stumbled across your site and cried so much
i am vegetarian, I dont agree with the mistreatment and exploit of animals but find having my eyes open to be so frustrating sometimes. Im not suggesting that you do not post these images and messages for i wholeheartedly agree with you but the frustration comes from feeling powerless to change it! There has to be some happy medium, I cannot ever see the whole world turning veggie but animals need to be treated with respect! Lots of respect and humans are a cruel, unforgiving race! I admire your site, your passion and am behind you!
If karma exists, perhaps one day these people will understand the true feeling of fear and pain when they find themselves in the position of a suffering animal?

Hi ruth, thanks for your comments. We agree with you totally, many days i just wish i could leave this hell hole, the sadness i feel on a daily basis with all we witness. The only thing that keeps us going is trying to enlighten others. I was veggy for 13 years, i had NO idea of the cruelty within the dairy industry. I know many many people that believe cows give milk naturally just as i did….It is up to US to show people the way, the suffering a frustration that we feel is nothing in comparison to the sentients that live the life for meat and dairy.
what i would say ruth is seriously consider the next step into veganism, its the best thing i have done in my entire life. In 3 years i have learnt so much and feel better inside and out :0)
